We are the fifth generation selling
flowers and more in Tidewater!
It all began with our
Great-Great-Grandfather,
John G. Cromwell. He moved to Norfolk from Anne Arundel,MD with his
wife Isabella
in 1888!
Around 1920 our Great-Grandfather Benton Cromwell took over the flower
farming business.
Our Grandpa, John G Cromwell, began running the flower farm about 1950 and had his "bargain
basement" shop in the basement of 106 Orchard St. in Norfolk, Virginia.
Grandpa pass away September 1995, his sons John G. Cromwell Jr. & Edward F. Cromwell Sr.(our
father) continued the business until the end of the 2005 season.
Valentine's Season 2006 is when Bonnie & Richard took over the shop. The fifth generation
to operate
